U.S. Syndication Companies Answer Plea

A few months ago, Zack FM started receiving e-mails from Active Duty Personnel stationed at RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall and RAF Feltwell and those serving in Iraq and Afganistan telling us how much they enjoy the station and asked if we could provide any programming that would give them a taste of home.

Zack FM went straight to work and made a plea on All Access asking any companies who would be willing to donate programming that would add to the morale and welfare of active duty Airmen and their dependants. We explained that there is no AFN Radio service here in the U.K.

100Within a week, we were contacted by Chris Johansing of Benztown in Burbank, California who spoke to his boss, Dave "Chachi" Denes and they made the descision to donate thousands of dollars worth of programming like Sunday Night Slow Jams with r. Dub, Hot Mix and access to their excellent production library. They made it clear to us that they wanted to do whatever they could to support the U.S. Airmen fighting for their freedoms throughout the world.

100Then, shortly after this, Zack FM was contacted by Ryan Hiser of RadioCraft of Boston and offeredParty Playhouse with Jackson Blue which airs on Friday nights on Zack FM. The feedback of Party Playhouse has been sensational and has been a perfect kick off to the weeknd.

100Todd Alan, VP of Entertainment, Westwood One reached out to Zack FM and was keen to try and help with our request. Within a few short days, Todd came back to us and offered CMT's Country Countdown with Ron Helton and Out of Order with Jed the Fish, along with many other sysndicated programming to meet the need. Todd said it was Westwood One's pleasure to help ZACK FM with the donation of these programs which are worth several thousand dollars a year.

100National Public Radio has been a great supporter of Zack FM and it's mission here in the UK. Currently, National Public Radio delivers award winning news each hour. The newcasts cover news from the states to include international newstories from across the globe.

100This leads us to John Tesh, the former Entertainment Tonight Anchor who has been our Morning Show host since we began broadcasting on June 24, 2009. John has donated his show for over two years and feels proud to be a part of what we are doing here at Zack FM. Every weekday morning from 5am to 10am, John fills the airwaves over West Suffolk and the three bases with Intelligence for your life.

Many listeners, both British and American have become infected with the wealth of knowledge that John dishes out and we get loads of e-mails from listeners saying how his show has helped them in one way or another.

To all of these generous companies who, with their donated support, has allowed Zack FM to bring you the programming that you know and love, we send a BIG thank you for all you do for Zack FM and all of our listeners both on and off the Air Force Bases!
